Mutants (2008)

Deja Vu (2006)

Plot: After an explosion on a ferry kills over 500 people including a large group of party-going sailors, an ATF agent investigates the crime. AN FBI agent also joins the investigation. Impressed with the ATF agent’s skills, the FBI agent invites him to join a new team that has a new program that uses satellite technology to look backwards in time for 4-1/2 days to try to capture the terrorist. Meanwhile a young woman who was burned washes up on shore. Meant to look like part of of the explosion, the body arrives at its location too soon, which leads the agents to believe her death is related to the explosion. As they use the new technology to study the woman, the ATF agent determines that this is not satellite imagery but somehow is using a time warp. From this point in the film, the movie moves from a crime film to a sci-fi time paradox film. Nonetheless, the action is non-stop and always captivating. The end of the film may be confusing to some people, but it is all laid out if one cares to look carefully. Contains some extreme violence that some may find disturbing, particularly during the explosion when many people are shown jumping off the boat in flames.

That is a great production factory. The workers after taking food, they will clean their carriers and throw the uneated food at the bottom of a tree. There are squirrels and sparrows which live in the tree will share the food. They unitedly share the food and living happily. One day a cat saw this scene and wanted to eat the sqirrels. so, it planned for it.

cat: oh! beauty squirrels..why you afraid of me.? i am your friend only. why you run after seeing me? i am not your enemy. i came here actually to help you.

squirrel head: oh ! cat, while thanking you for your goodness, how can you help us ?

cat: good question. i explain you. see, the un-eated food were thrown by the men are taken by you and the sparrows. right ?

squirrel head: exactly, we are friends. we eat unitedly. we have no difference of opinion..then ?

cat: what i want to say is important. see, before you come down from the tree, the sparrows fly down quickly and eating. moreover, they are huge and you are less. i explain..see you are nearly 10 to 15 only, whereas i saw it is nearly more than 25. you are eating the food after they eat quickly. your share is less whereas major food were taken by the sparrows..

squirrel head: i am thinking now. yes, you are right. we will decide ourselves and act accordingly.

Then on that day, while all are taking food, the squirrels dashed and pushed the sparrows which gave surprise to the sparrows.
sparrow head: sqirrel friends, why you do like this ? what happened to you ?
squirrel head: you sparrows cheating us. you are all taking more food and we are taking less..
Then sparrows thoght and found that some one played with them and induced against them, so they fly and sat over the tree and not took food .Only squirrels took food. At that time, the cat came fast to catch the squirrels. This was seen by the sparrows and raised huge voice and alerted the squirrels. The squirrels gone fast to the tree and escaped. The cat dashed with the tree and injured.
squirrel head: we are cheated by the sweet words. our brain not worked. please pardon us. if you did not alert, we would have met an end at the hands of the cat. you saved us. we feel sorry..
sparrow head: First you should know one thing, if we are in diff of opinion, we should exchange our views openly and come to a peace, if you feel indifference, you can come and discuss, but if we kept quiet when cat came fast, just think…still and always we are friendly only.

Anyway the story is excellent.

Thumbsucker (2005)

Plot: Justin (Lou Taylor Pucci) is a teenager boy, who has an oral obsession with his thumb. His mother (Tilda Swinton) seems to be a normal housekeeper, but she has her own obsessions as well, like a crush on a TV-star (Benjamin Bratt). The only person who’s aware of Justin’s problem is his father (Vincent D’Onofrio), manager in a store, but none of his advices seem to be working for Justin. The kid is signed up in a debate workshop, but the thing isn’t going well, because he has his mind in a pretty classmate and, of course, in his thumb, affecting all the rest of his classes. So, Justin is a loner kid in the school, who prefers to lock himself in the bathroom and suck his thumb. Justin’s dentist (Keanu Reeves), a mystical-hippie person, will try to help to overcome his thumb problem, through the hypnosis. But the school’s psychologist will diagnose Justin with the Attention Deficit Disorder, and will prescribe him some drugs. Suddenly, Justin’s problem with his thumb will disappear, becoming an hyperactive genius, winning several debate contests and the admiration from his teacher (Vince Vaughn). Nevertheless, more serious problems will come for Justin with his mother, his father and with a drug addiction.

My daughter will soon be turning 2 and all of a sudden does not want to be held?
My daughter is basically known for being a cuddle monster. Especially with me (her Mom). She will be turning 2 the end of this month. I’m talking up until a week ago she was so drastic with this that it was near impossible to get a single thing done, I could hardly even break away long enough to go to the bathroom! It’s so weird. She is a thumbsucker but due to the cold weather her thumb got really chapped and even cracked open. Once this happened, she stopped sucking her thumb cold turkey and has stopped cuddling! She doesn’t want rocked a night (like she always HAD to be) she just wants placed right into her crib. I used to actually get a bit frustrated with how clingy she was and now I have to practically force her to let me hold her for 30 seconds! I’m sad, I know she has to gain some independence but this just seems so sudden. Is this normal?

Best Vegas hotel for teens besides Circus Circus and Excalibur?
My girls are ages 12 and 15 and we will be spending 3 nights in Vegas. Many reviews of Circus Circus and Excalibur say they are more kid friendly but they are cheap and dirty. What is a nicer hotel on the strip that is still appropriate for teens?
Any OTHER hotels besides the ones I have mentioned?

But some other options might be Treasure Island (good rates, nice pool, mall nearby), MGM (really good pool area, near GameWorks, Miracle Mile shops also nearby at Planet Hollywood), and Mandalay (great pool area). NYNY has an arcade and the coaster, and is somewhat more suited to families than some of the others.
